    Intended Use

    The DRUGSWAB™ Drug Screen Test is a one-step lateral flow immunoassay device for the detection of drug residues on surfaces or drug solid. The DRUGSWAB™ device detects drugs listed below:

    OPI/Heroin  10ng/ml

    COC Cocaine 20 ng/ml

    MET d-Methamphetamine (including Crystal Meth and MDMA Ecstasy) 25 ng/ml

    BUP Buprenorphine 10 ng/ml

    THC Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol 40 ng/ml

    FEN Fentanyl 20 ng/ml

     

     

    This product is intended for forensic use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures. 

    TEST TWO WAYS:

    DRUG RESIDUE
    Simply remove the blue cap and lightly brush the surface to collect the Drug Residue. Once the collection is complete, apply 15-20 drops from the Buffer Vial

    SUBSTANCES
    Add the substance to the Buffer Vial.  Shake for 15-30 seconds. Apply 15-20 drops from the Buffer Vial to the Device.

    Interpreting Results

    A red colored line should be observed in the control region marked C to indicate the test is performing properly. If no red line appears in the control region, the test is invalid and should be discarded and the operator should perform another test using a new test kit. A red colored line observed in the test region indicates a presumptive negative test result. The color and density of the red line may vary in the control and test regions. A presumptive positive test result occurs if no red line appears in the test region.

    The drug residue surface test provides qualitative preliminary results, which only indicates the presumptive presence of the drug in a residue or substance. It does not measure drug levels.

     

    The DRUGSWAB™ Drug Screen Test provides only preliminary drug test results. For a quantitative result or for a confirmation of a presumptive positive result obtained by the DRUGSWAB™ Drug Screen Device, a more specific alternative method such as GC/MS or LC/MS must be used.
